Jalandhar September 10 (? ) : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann released the poster of the country's prestigious 40th Indian Oil Surjit Hockey Tournament here today. According to the Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar Vishesh Sarangal, IAS who is also the President of Surjit Hockey Society that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has released the poster today in a small function in view of the preparations for the 40th Indian Oil Surjit Hockey Tournament, scheduled to started from Oct. 25, here at the local Surjit Hockey Stadium, Bultren Park. In the meantime, Vishesh Sarangal (President and DC, Jalandhar), Iqbal Singh Sandhu, (CEO), Ranbir Singh Tut (Honorary Secretary) and Surinder Singh Bhapa (Secretary General) jointly invited the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to be the Chief guest on the finals of the tournament on Nov.3. On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann while accepting the society's invitation and said that the Punjab government will provide all possible support for this prestigious indianOil Surjit Hockey Tournament for the promotion of hockey in Punjab.
